Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify the greatness and worth of God revealed in His Son Jesus Christ
Our Core Values
The Word of God: The Bible is the central and dominant focus for us here at the Bridge. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). From the Bible we learn accurate doctrine, instruction for daily living, and growth in godliness and holiness. We publically proclaim the Scriptures at our gathering and encourage consistent, personal Bible reading and meditation.
Worship: Worship is the ultimate goal of the Church. God seeks true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:23). One day all believers will bow before the God’s throne in worship, adoration, and service (Revelation 22:3). We worship fervently here at the Bridge. We encourage corporate worship through song and also personal worship as a lifestyle. Romans 12:1 states “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship.” Come and worship the living and beautiful God with us.
Prayer:“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Prayer is another important element of our ministry here at the Bridge. We have incorporated different prayer aspects at our gatherings. We also have prayer after the gathering and several prayer meetings throughout the week.
Discipleship Jesus placed much emphasis on discipleship throughout His ministry. He said in Luke 14:27 “And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” He commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). Jesus made radical demands for discipleship. We seek to become strong, dependent disciples that faithfully follow our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Gospel: “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile” (Romans 1:16). Preaching the Gospel is of utmost importance for us here at the Bridge. The Apostle Paul believed he was divinely commissioned to preach the Gospel; “For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power” (1 Corinthians 1:17). We preach many different aspects of the Gospel diamond. We also encourage consistent witnessing to unbelievers.
Service Projects: Serving the community is extremely important for us here at the Bridge. Coatesville, a very poor town located 10 miles from CFC, is a great avenue for us to serve the community. There are several ministries that we link up with to serve this community. This is a great way to live out our faith and share and show the Gospel to a lost and dying world.
