The Bridge is partnering with the Bridge Academy Community Center in Coatesville PA. Coatesville has a population of about 12,000 people, of which 22 percent of it’s residence live below the poverty line. The BACC is working to see the community transformed by the power of the gospel.
The BACC has programs in each of these three areas – education, creative arts and community projects – that have primarily worked with low-income youth and adults. All of the programs include time for bible study and discussion, and the BACC also offers youth and adult bible studies for the community. As for the broader community, the BACC hosts annually a fall festival, back to school book bag drive and a Christmas store for youth and adults.
It’s our desire to see the Bridge and CFC go beyond our church walls and have an impact in the community. The BACC is a great way to make that desire a reality.
