The Bridge is more than a Sunday night gathering.
Take your walk with the Lord to the next level — get involved in a small group. Small groups are where a lot of spiritual growth takes place, because it’s a more intimate environment for the Lord to work in you. We would like to see everyone involved in a small group, whether it’s through the Bridge or elsewhere.
It’s so important to be in a small group because it completes what the Bridge gathering on Sunday nights cannot. While the Bridge gives you a chance to worship the Lord, be around a ton of other believers, and learn from the Word, there are a few things it can’t do. Discipleship and accountabilty are two big things that Sunday night can’t do. There are other things as well, and that’s where small groups step in. Small groups allow you to:
- Dive deeper into the Word, ask questions and really study
what you’re reading. - Be open to other people about what’s going on in your life;
to be vulnerable and closer to others in a way that you can’t
around a large group of people. - Pray for one another at length, fervently seeking the Lord
for specific needs. - Reach out to your neighbors/community by providing
service to them on an individual basis
There are numerous small groups running through the Bridge, from marrieds/couples to singles, guys/girls/mixed groups, college-aged to post college. We’re also starting new groups all the time, so make sure to keep yourself updated on what’s available. All you need to do is find out what group is right for you.
If you’re ready to take this step and draw closer to the Lord and other believers, please contact Mike Morby. He will be able to give you a good idea of where you can get plugged in. You can also click on the sidebar to find the contact information of different groups in the area. Your life will never be the same.
